Gabriela Lazaro is a PhD student of Prof. Gustavo Guerrero at the University Cergy-Paris, and in this role is also a member of the project «Poetry in Notions». Her research focuses on exploring the metamorphosis between avant-garde poetry movements in Latin America, such as Brazilian Concrete Poetry or Mail Art, and electronic poetry. She seeks to give a lyrical perspective to this literary corpus, exploring how they rethink the sensible and subjective from these new poetic forms. The Latin American region is changing the poetic landscape, trying to innovate through new technologies, yet bearing testimonies of precariousness and the constant struggle to find new institutional or non-institutional arenas to create platforms for the diffusion of poetry.
