
Adalberto Müller is a full Professor for Literary Theory and Translation Studies at the Federal University Fluminense (UFF, Rio de Janeiro). He received his PhD from the University of Sao Paulo (2002) with a dissertation on "Francis Ponge and music". He was a Visiting Professor at Lumière University Lyon2 and a Visiting Fellow at Yale University. He published 20 books on poetry, fiction and literary theory, including the translation into Portuguese of the complete poems of Emily Dickinson (Poesia Completa, 2021, 2. vol.), and he is a Member-at-Large of the Emily Dickinson International Society. His research interests include the poetic image, modern poetry, Emily Dickinson, theory and practice of literary translation, and indigenous poetry in Tupi-Guarani languages.
